What is the cancellation policy?
Sometimes, pet owners change their minds and no longer want the insurance policy they signed their four-legged friend up for. A client may request to cancel a policy at any time by notifying PETSY. They may cancel a policy at any time as allowed by law by notifying the client in writing of the date from which the cancellation is to take effect. Notification will be delivered to the address last notified to PETSY and cancellation will take effect no earlier than 4.00 pm on the day which is three (3) business days from the date they notify the client in writing.
If the Policy is cancelled by either the client or PETSY, PETSY will refund the Premium and Policy fee paid for the policy less a pro-rata proportion of the Premium and Policy fee to cover the period for which insurance applied less any non-refundable statutory and government charges, taxes and levies that PETSY have paid. However, PETSY will not refund any Premium and Policy fee if a claim has been made by the client under the Policy.
